Just found this on Wikipedia

On October 27, 2009, it was announced that Steve Carr will direct the remake and the film's plot will involve a boy from a broken family befriending the Number 5 robot.

Steve Carr has directed these movies:

* Racing the Monsoon (in pre-production)
* Switching Nazis
* Are We Done Yet?
* Rebound
* Daddy Day Care

I hope this turn out to be a crappy B movie....

Hi, everybody!
After стольких conversations about Dan Milano I searched to look "Robot Chicken".
To the shame I didn't see this cartoon film before. And here one of these days has looked.
In "Robot Chicken" too rough humour. And now I strongly worry that all these tricks haven't transferred to remake Short Circuit! I am afraid that can change somewhat appearance Johnny Five.
But most of all I worry that can change character Johnny Five and it won't be such as in original film!!!

I'm not really worrying about the remake. From what has been said I KNOW it will suck. At the same time though we will always have the first two and nothing can take that away.

PLus any memorabilia, toys etc would be pretty cool. Also, it would be really nice to finally say "I just saw the new Short Circuit film in the cinema". Something that I would never have thought would happen.

Ah well, at least it's something new, right?

I very much расчитываю that after exit on remake screens toys Johnny will be on sale. (As after exit of cartoon film WALL·E (2008) in Russia have appeared on sale of toy of this amusing robot).
